We are on the brink of a bot revolution. Last week, X.ai’s virtual assistant bot Amy Ingram raised $23 million in funding from investors. Yesterday, another artificially intelligent bot KitCRM was acquired by Shopify. Created for SMEs, KitCRM is an intelligent order management bot which can handle a company’s CRM requirements. It can create Facebook and Instagram ads with a targeted audience, post updates on Facebook, send marketing campaigns, create business reports, and even write personalised notes to customers. Similar to a real person, KitCRM understands and communicates using natural language to provide seamless user experience. Shopify did not disclose the purchase price for this private acquisition. You can read about the acquisition here.
