BetterWorks raises $20 million

According to a Gartner report, the enterprise mobile apps market is expected to nearly double in value, from $31 billion in 2012 to $61 billion in 2018, which is why investors are eager to jump on the bullish bandwagon. This week, the enterprise goal planning startup, BetterWorks, raised another $20 million in Series B funding led by Emergence Capital and previous investors Kleiner Perkins Caufield & Byers and 8VC.This brings the company’s total funding to $35 million. Founded by former Palantir advisor Kris Duggan, BetterWorks provides the easiest way for employees to set and manage goals. The Goal Scienceā„¢ insights assist in keeping companies aligned and their employees more focused on work that matters. BetterWorks has over 200 enterprise customers including Airbnb, AOL, BMW and Shutterstock.
