Finding a parking spot can be difficult in today’s increasingly dense cities. While there’s a lot of buzz about self-driving cars and apps that help drivers find parking lots, one startup aims to provide a practical solution for drivers who can’t find parking space. The startup is Luxe, an app providing valets stationed throughout the city, ready to immediately park a car. They will also get the car washed and gassed up for an additional fee. On Thursday, Luxe announced it has raised $50 million in Series B funding from car rental firm Hertz. According to the company, it plans to use the capital to invest in valet, operations, product and engineering teams and introduce new services. Luxe operates in San Francisco, Los Angeles, Seattle, Austin, Chicago and New York.
