Atlassian acquires Trello

When it comes to office productivity, Atlassian and Trello are among the top software companies around that have been pushing for smarter, faster and better project management. That’s why it makes a lot of sense for these two companies to join forces. Last week, Atlassian announced that it has acquired Trello for $425 million. With Trello, Atlassian will acquire one the fastest growing management services in the US that has more than one million daily active users and 19 million total registered users. Trello, on the other hand, will join a booming company with more than $450 million in revenue in 2016, a 43% growth year over year.
