Some of the mobile threats out there are malware, infected apps, device vulnerabilities and unreliable Wi-Fi sources. As mobile threats become more sophisticated, mobile security companies have upped their game and according to research firm Canalys, the sector is estimated to grow an average of 44.2% per year. This week, the latest mobile security company to receive funding was Zimperium, which received $25 million in Series C funding led by Warburg Pincus.
